We hope you are all having a wonderful summer despite the rather ‘un-summery’ weather!
Our summer kids’ camps are going well – we had 28 children attend over the 3 days last week and, if all this rain means they are spending too much time indoors, it is not too late to book them on our second camp next week. See below for more info.

- Tour of Britain – 9th September
On Saturday 9th September the Tour of Britain will be passing through Bourton on the Water. Freestyle 360 have been asked to join in the celebrations so we have decided to take our spin team on the road! We will be positioning a flatbed lorry on the Horse and Groom car park with a prime view down the hill to watch the cyclists on the King of the Mountain stretch whilst we spin away. If you fancy being part of the fun and could come along to spin for an hour or two on the 9th Sept around midday please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are also looking for some teenagers to distribute some leaflets for a couple of hours at the event so please email email@example.com if you wish to nominate anyone!

Other 360 News…
We have recently undertaken 2 weeks of health checks at a global logistics company at various locations across the UK.
The checks included blood pressure, BMI, resting heart rate, blood testing (for both glucose and cholesterol) as well as bio-impedance results to give each employee an overall indication of their health and fitness. The feedback from both the employer and employees has been extremely positive. If anyone would be interested in Freestyle 360 undertaking checks at your place of work please contact Rachel at email@example.com
Team 360 successes
As usual our gym members have done us proud over the past month. Congratulations to:
Denise James and Steve Batsford completing the whopping 100k Race to the Stones on the 17th July. We especially love the fact that they crossed the line in position 360!
Viv D’Alton for completing 50k Race to the Stones on the 17th July and the Shakespeare 2.5K river swim on the 30th July.
Jemma King for achieving a PB in the Shakespeare Raceways 10k on the 29th July.
Dave Murphy for completing the Ride London 100 mile cycle on 30th July.
Nik and Anna Lincoln for swimming the Rock to Padstow challenge on Sunday 6th August.
Ollie and Jon completing the Shakespeare 40 mile Sportive on the 13th August.
However star member of the month award has to go to Carrie Preston who is on fire at the moment. Over the past month Carrie has climbed Kilimanjaro (well done also to Ian and Tom Preston), then swam Rock to Padstow, then yesterday she completed the Cotswold Classic Triathlon (1.9 km swim, 56 miles bike, 13 mile run)!
Do let us know if you have been up to anything recently or have any events coming up as we love to give a shout out for your successes.
That’s all folks!
